The Hospital Chaplaincy Service in New Zealand is run by the Interchurch Council for Hospital Chaplaincy Aotearoa New Zealand Charitable Trust Inc (ICHC) CC21346.

 

The Trust Board is made up of representatives of nine partner churches: Anglican, ACTS Churches New Zealand, Baptist, Catholic, Christian Churches NZ, Congregational, Presbyterian, Methodist, and Salvation Army.

 

The Trust Board contracts with the Ministry of Health for the provision of Chaplaincy services in New Zealand public hospitals. In addition ICHC provides chaplains to a limited number of private hospitals.
